"If you’re in Sevilla and looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Bar del Bacalao is an absolute must-visit. Located conveniently close to my hotel, this charming restaurant won me over with its incredible paella mixto—a flavorful, perfectly cooked dish that I can’t recommend enough. Every bite was a delight, with fresh ingredients and a rich blend of spices that truly captured the essence of Spanish cuisine. Beyond the food, the service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The cozy atmosphere made the meal even more enjoyable, and I left feeling completely satisfied. Whether you’re a local or a traveler, this is a gem that deserves a spot on your Sevilla itinerary. Don’t miss it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
"Had an amazing experience at the Cuesta del Bacalao. The service was amazing, food delicious. Typical Spanish delicacies. Mario showed us that in the back of the restaurant they have a nice Flamengo hall with a small stage, a hotel and a roof garden. Definitely worth a visit next time we are back in Seville. Thank you Mario for this new discovery!!!"
"Sevilla—Day 1! Cuesta del Bacalao—Lunch Tapas It was raining and this charming tapas restaurant was just steps from our hotel—Perfect! Andalusian baked pepper salad Gazpacho Paté of Iberian pork meat (sandwich) Pan Everything was fantastic!"
"This food was so good. We got a variety of plates and we loved all of them. Waiters very friendly too. Highly recommend if you are visiting Sevilla. Also don’t listen to Scott Walker he dumb as hell, this was fire he’s just a hater."
"The food was excellent! The best calamari I ever had! Today we had the calamar, again, and I had the "Iberian pork with tomatoes," tasty and tender. It was an excellent tapas. My wife had the "fried cod little cubes" it was a huge tasty surprise, tender, just the right amout of the sea flavor, not oily salted just right. Also the deep fried eggplant with homemade orange jam (aka marmalade) This marmalade s the 'bitter oranges'you hear about, the taste is perfect not too sweet like 'jam.' I wish they had better tables inside, like folding tables, salt and pepper shakers on the tables, bottles of oil/vinegar for the salad, extend the overhang all the way, please ignore the ice cream out front it is good but hiding amazing food."
"Really enjoyed our time here. We went to rooftop at 5:30 1st ones up there. Great place to relax for peaceful afternoon after touring."
"We had lunch here in our last day before our flight out of Sevilla. We were not very hungry so we only ordered tapas instead of any main dish. The tapas we ordered were good and the service was also good. They also had a rooftop patio but we chose indoor seating instead because it was too hot."
"This place is at the doorstep of the 2nd place we were staying in town so we went over for a quick coffee and a bite in the early morning. It was not table service in the morning and the staff did not speak much English but the breakfast menu was simple enough for us to understand and order. We had jamon in bread roll and pate in bread roll with OJ and a black coffee, bottle of still water. The pate bread roll was so delicious so I went back and ordered another 2 portions. The sweetest part was the waiter staff probably realised that we loved the pate bread roll and he gave us an extra pate pot. Overall it only cost us less than €10 altogether! Very satisfied with a quick breakfast in the morning."
